COGA MIG has the following volunteer leadership positions open for the 2022-2023 election. We invite all professional COGA MIG members (Active, Retired, International membership categories) to consider volunteering and to become part of a dynamic group of leaders. Please submit your application of interest by November 1, 2021 to be considered.
- Chair-Elect (1 year term with additional 1 year term as Chair and 1 year term as Past Chair = 3 year commitment)
Our Chair-Elect is mentored by our Chair to prepare for his/her term as Chair. Primary responsibilities include: assisting with organizing FNCE
® activities, assisting with the development of the Program of Work/Budget for next fiscal year and assisting with coordination of events
Our Treasurer's primary responsibilities include: assisting with the development of the Program of Work/Budget for next fiscal year, the sponsorship prospectus and overall responsible fiscal management of COGA MIG funds
- Nominating/Awards Committee Chair-Elect (1 year term with additional 1 year term as Chair - 2 year commitment)
Our Nominating/Awards Committee Chair-Elect is mentored by our Nominating/Awards Committee Chair to prepare for his/her term as Committee Chair. Primary responsibilities include: assisting the Nominating/Awards Committee Chair with all activities and coordination of the nomination/recruitment process and awards program process
- House of Delegates (HOD) MIG Delegate (3 year term)
Our HOD MIG Delegate's primary responsibilities include: participating in HOD meetings and communication platforms, keeping the COGA MIG Executive Committee and members aware of critical issues and facilitating non-bias dialogue with COGA members to determine feedback on issues
- Membership Committee Chair (2 year term)
Our Membership Committee Chair's primary responsibilities include: identifying best methods for recruiting and retaining our members, determining member needs and ways to enhance member benefits
- Networking Committee Chair (2 year term)
Our Networking Committee Chair's primary responsibilities include: planning/coordinating regional networking events for members and prospects and identifying/developing external organization relationships that align with COGA MIG's mission
